Finished my first FP bodying session this afternoon. It was instant gratification. The finish looked quite good after just one session. I have a question though. With the nice reflective shine on the top now, I noticed a few tiny purf gaps that I had not noticed before. Since this is only the first of several bodying sessions, should I drop fill the little gaps with some CA? or more 2 lb cut? flaten the area with some 800 grit and then keep on truck’n? |

Fill with CA and level as soon as possible since even the smallest of holes or gaps will not be filled with additional polishing sessions. This will save you work in the long run even though it is tempting to keep on polishing. |

Yes - fill with CA - be careful to fully level afterwards, as even the smallest bump will stick out like a sore thumb. Ask me how I know! 
I like to clean with naptha to remove any oil, and scuff the surface a bit with 600 grit before I drop fill, but I don't know that this is absolutely necessary. -Mark |
